Carlos V is a brand of Mexican chocolate bar, produced by 2005[1][2] and launched in 2008 by Nestlé. The bar is named in honor of Carlos V, Holy Roman Emperor.[3] It is known for its marketing slogan "El Rey de los Chocolates" which means in English Translation "The King of Chocolates". Nestle refers to them in English as "The king of 'bars' in Mexico".[4]
The confectionery bar is mainly milk chocolate and contains powdered milk.[5][2][6] It is popular in Mexico. Carlos V is still currently running the Marketing Slogan "El Rey de los Chocolates" which means in English Translation "The King of Chocolates".
